Dasari Benarjee
Stress has both positive and negative impact on any individual?s performance. The dysfunctional aspects of stress have been the cause of worry for many people in recent times. Intensified competition in the corporate sector due to globalization, changing life styles, increased levels for awareness etc. have all contributed to an environment of stressful living. Increased levels of stress can not only bring down the levels of performance of an employee but can also result in deterioration in the quality of life. Though men and women can equally be the victims of such a situation, it is the women who are worst affected especially those employed in the service sector.
