Research Paper (Pre-University) from the year 2014 in the subject Computer Science - IT-Security, grade: 10, , language: English, abstract: This paper is a brief review in the field of Reversible data hiding in encrypted image. The protection of this multi-media data can be done with encryption or data hiding algorithms. Reversible data hiding (RDH) maintains the excellent property of the original image. Previous methods like embed data by reversibly vacating room from the encrypted images, which may subject to some errors on data extraction or in image restoration. With a traditional RDH algorithm, and thus it is easy for the data hider to reversibly embed data in the encrypted image. The proposed method can achieve real reversibility, i.e., data extraction and image recovery are free of any error.
