The extent to which economic integration attract Foreign Direct Investment inflows to developing countries is of special interest in Africa. On one hand it is inevitable that economies integrate for varied benefits including foreign investment attraction. On the other hand, foreign investors are looking at a wide array of factors before they decide to invest abroad. This book analyses the contribution of a customs union to FDI inflow with Uganda as a case for study.
