In this book, Residential planning and Neighborhood models, i.e Urban Forces and Patterns for the Mushroom Growth of Concrete Jungle, in the Mega- Metropolitan City Karachi, Pakistan. The author initially wrote this dissertation at Bachelors level, since she is an apartment dweller, since birth in Karachi; therefore she aimed to come up with an appropriate solution towards apartment dwelling, for this purpose the site was chosen in the dense urban residential area. But after initial contextual analysis, the observation suggested that the site was appropriate for a neighborhood spine rather than another apartment block. Hence the initial portion of the bachelors' dissertation consists of the quest for the appropriate apartment dwelling. Whereas the latter portion proposed the model for the heart of the neighborhood, this fulfilled the lacking requirement which were absent in the surrounding existing apartments. The area was highly congested and the residents were in desperate need a breather there. But yet another pair of lungs was brutally destroyed by a developer who chopped off all the trees.
