Excluding women in politics means excluding them from development. In that way, development could not at all be comprehensive and all-embarcing because women in every society are the majority. Hence not including them means it would be only half change or incomplete change. The reality on the ground however shows that women in all activities are secluded and marginalized. Though they are offering versatile benefits to the society they are not sharing what they deserve. This is clearly seen in developing countries including Ethiopia. First and foremost the political particiaption of women should be enhanced through a number of mechanisms. In so long as they remain inactive in politics they would always remain to be the most oblivion ones. All segments of the societies both sexes alike should recongnize and create propitious situation whereby women could become active players of politics. Otherwise the world will not show much progress in all fields of studies.
