Today every country has its own standards of disposed wastewater quality parameters which are enforced by the country's legislative bodies. Thus it is imperative to treat the wastewater prior to disposal. Many processes for wastewater treatment with efficacy have been and are being innovated and renovated. For a developing third world country like Bangladesh, most of these processes are so costly that the industry owners are reluctant to adopt these. This book provides a new cost effective method for wastewater treatment which would enable the owners to retrench. Literature review and the experiment itself are two main sections of this book. The literature review part focuses on necessary water quality parameters, their effects and standard values, current wastewater treatment processes and equipment design calculation. The experimental part consists of the experimental principles, procedure, results and a conclusive discussion on the results. Textile wastewater was used for sampling. This new method should help the industry owners to treat wastewater with efficacy and economization, as well as the researchers who wish to conduct further research in this field.
