Marie Mennessier-Nodier
Marie Mennessier-Nodier (1811-1893), daughter of Charles Nodier and the Salon de l'Arsenal's muse, was a musician and a woman of letters. Her dialogue with her family and with the artistic and literary circles of her time fueled an extensive and partly unpublished correspondence. This second volume of letters covers the period 1849-1892.
