Marie Mennessier-Nodier
Marie Mennessier-Nodier (1811-1893), daughter of Charles Nodier and the Salon de l'Arsenal's muse, was a musician and a woman of letters. Her dialogue with the artistic and literary circles of her time and with her family fueled an abundant correspondence that has remained partly unpublished. This first volume covers the period 1821-1848.
