Dianne Lee
Scars of Scared Silence relates grief and frustration over injustices inflicted upon innocent, helpless children and the love, courage, determination and persistence of those trying to protect the innocent. The story relates years of witnessing abuse, neglect and rejection of helpless youngsters and a battle to protect a family. During the time of caring for and being an advocate for the children, the author shows frustration by a legal system that can not help, but instead sends the innocent back to their torment. The author shows both sides of the battle, one is the side of the acts inflicted upon the children, the other side shows what love can accomplish.
