For to this you have been called...that you might follow in His steps. -- I Peter 2:21 The Discipleship Project helps believers who want to put their faith into action realize the life they were called to live: a life of purpose. The calling to become a stronger disciple may be clear, but the day-to-day path of following our Savior's example can often seem clouded. Through intentional action, though, we can live lives of purpose by loving God, serving others, and growing in the fruit of the Spirit. The Discipleship Project is designed to center your days, choices, and actions on Christ. Over the course of this 40-day study, you will dedicate yourself to growing the fruit of the Spirit in your life by living like Christ. With a small group or on your own, you will dig into your Bible to deepen your relationship with God, examine research to understand the benefits of discipleship, and utilize actions to intentionally focus on each fruit. Using daily devotions, application, and reflection, you will equip yourself as a disciple and then end your journey by creating a personal mission statement. Are you ready to become a more dedicated disciple of Christ? Are you prepared to transform your life to one of passion, commitment, and service? The journey will be challenging, but the results are well worth the effort as together we ignite our relationship with God, improve ourselves, and impact our world by living the life to which we have been called...a life of purpose.
