Madrid, New Mexico seems like a charming little village straight out of an Andy Hardy movie, complete with freckle-faced children and a strong, conservative mentality. Felicity Templeton, coming from Texas, feels quite at home and begins to think about staying in the house she inherited from her aunt. But things take a dark turn quickly when Felicity discovers that her aunt was a pariah in her own town and that a dark and powerful force has taken the quaint little village and twisted it into a violent and angry town.
