The Last Pew (TLP) is the story of a young, single Christian woman who grew up being characterized as the "good girl." Upon moving to a new city and beginning her career as an educator, on the job, she encounters a young man, who happens to be both unhappily married and a Pastor at a local church. Throughout a two year period of the two working together, and forming an intimate friendship--she is courted; they fall in love, and commit to a life and relationship of immorality, secrets, shame, and sin. TLP shows how two people who know God intimately and have been doing His will for so long can eventually walk down a path of spiritual and moral destruction, when they let their guards down. The Last Pew speaks to our ability to have lapses in judgement, particularly when we are vulnerable and lacking within ourselves and our relationships. The Last Pew is a transparent recount of how an impressionable young woman finds herself in the grips of an emotional entanglement. More significantly, it is the story of God's Grace, Mercy, Forgiveness, and the true capacity of Prayer and Fasting. The Last Pew is a book that will speak to singles, married couples, those touched by infidelity in any capacity, and everyone in between. It is a book that merits to be in every book store, particularly church book stores.
