Growing up on a farm in Saskatchewan isn't always easy. But, it isn't always hard either. Despite a hard-headed father, language barriers and some self-worth battering instances, there were still the good times and even some high times. In his memoirs, Paul reveals the good times, the bad times, the highs and the lows. And, 85 years after it all began his conclusions of life are incredibly insightful, humbling and hopeful. It's a cherished read for his family and an entertaining read for the new friends looking in. Memoirs of PFN was completed in time for Paul's 85th birthday. He knew he was writing his memoirs but the book in its final form was his birthday present from his family. Unfortunately, because we were rushed, it doesn't include all of the death-defying stories of his life, most of which are hilarious to hear about, but it gives us an opportunity to write a sequel.
