Purgatory

Purgatory is about experiences I've had, but mainly about having the illness schizophrenia. From the accounts I've read of others experience, I like to think I've had a mild case of the disease. I heard voices for years. That is my main symptom. I went to a psychiatrist or two and received medication. And some therapy. The medicine helped. I could think and read more clearly, though the voices persisted. I also kept a journal and wrote in a writing group. Which spawned Purgatory. I've written two other books. Poems a Nickel Apiece and I. M. Prism. The first is a book of poetry. Some about the illness. I. M. Prism is a schizophrenics look at beauty in the world. And how I cope with the illness. Purgatory is shorter. It is quick sketches of my life thru which I hope the illness is more easily understood. I plan on writing more cheerful books in the future. As I recover from schizophrenia.
