If you've been looking for a cheerful, cheeky sendup of the preschool universe for the ultra-rich on Manhattan's Upper East Side, look no further! The Sparrow School, an elite institution for three- to six-year-olds, has just hired an assistant headmaster whose task is to propel the school from a B- ranking into the stratosphere of AA+. The assistant head's name is Ralph Pilipanko, but he likes to be called Rafe, in the British fashion, like the movie star. Do you need to know more than this about him? I don't think so. Can Rafe do it? That's not for me to say. But I can tell you that it all ends in a final, fabulous denouement that will make you laugh.
