The book Hands Full is about a young black man named King, also known as Trouble. The story takes place all over Maryland, from Greenbelt to Germantown. Trouble makes his way up the food chain within the streets by his actions. His brave actions though, land him into more trouble than he bargained for. He starts to run the drug operations in his area and all surrounding areas as well. While being in the streets he runs into snitches. (people who tell on others to better there self). He lets a new guy run a portion of his operation, Nappy, a new guy on the block who loves to make deals. After dealing with a number of women King finds Beauty, who he think's is his soul mate. He gets told that his life on the streets was all coming to an end, when he lands himself in jail due to disloyal people. Some people are just not cut out to be in the streets and when situations get heated aint no telling what people will do. Things go downhill when the DA comes straight after Trouble, but instead of finding him they find his new love Beauty instead. She ends up getting involved in the game and going with her heart. King has to make the decision to put his lady before himself and take all the weight on his shoulders. This book is filled with drugs, real street scenarios, sex, and page turning excitement. This is one that anybody can relate to, whether you have been on the streets or not.
