Today's generation barely read anymore (let alone poems). Being a "Millennial", there's only 2 things that we love and enjoy the most: music and social media. So, I decided to create a new type of poetry that we all can relate to and understand because we are a VERY different type of generation. Therefore, the new genre "Songetry", I believe, will allow our generation to not only begin reading again, but also enjoy and relate to my words which may also improve the main usage of social media. My poems are about everyday life of Millennials: the good, bad, and the ugly. However, my book of songerty is not only for the young. Any generation, any age, ethnicity, gender, etc may be able to relate to the rhythm of my words. These poems are also based on my life situations, experiences, thinkings, as well as other's testimonies. Some are funny. Some are sad and philosophical. Others are complex, but all of my words are authentic, flamboyant, and rhythmic. My book of songetry gives you a peek inside my brain and will show you what I see, think, and feel about life. So, please stop whatever you're posting, liking, and tweeting, and begin reading.
