Mariama Tall
Poetry and Rhythm Artist, Jeana Mariama Tall, also known as Rhythma De'twa, began her career on the streets of Detroit in the 1990s, battle rapping at the Hip Hop Shop on 7 Mile Rd and converting rhymes to poetry at the Pour'e Me Cafe on Grand River. Eclectic poetry and lyrics unmatched by today's standards, Rhythma De'twa brings that smooth old school taste to the open mic forum from political satire to emotionally abusive retrograde. The flower power is in full effect as she swoons and sways over the beats or gives you full throttle, no music, love poems.
