On the 5th of February 2013 Juliet received the most devastating news any mother could receive. The person at the other end of the call told her that her adorable and gifted Philip had collapsed while playing football on the day. He had been rushed to hospital. When she got there she beheld the lifeless body of her son lying in a bed with the retinue of doctors present unable to do anything to bring him back to life. Juliet was devastated beyond words and at that moment her greatest wish was to die so she could join her lovely son in the great beyond. Death had snatched Philip cruelly from Juliet's hands without the chance of a final goodbye. Though knocked down by this trauma, through her determination, fortitude and her faith Juliet has bounced back. This is the true story of the months that led to Philip's death and how she has coped ever since. The circumstance that would have been "curtains" for her has propelled her into a tireless community figure and a mentor to the youth. Juliet's promise to Philip to 'take care of his friends' has been a driving force in her everyday experience.
