Are you a new Christian? Do you believe there is a God and Jesus is his Son? Then here are five short Bible studies designed for adults who are reading the Bible for the first time. BIBLE OVERVIEW is designed for those who want to know what the Bible is all about. LETTERS FROM PAUL is designed to aid your spiritual growth. Letters from Paul features the four books that I believe to be the most conducive to learning how to follow Christ. They are Galatians, Ephesians, Philippians, and Colossians. Inthem, we learn to trust God and rise above the cares of this world. We learn how to find peace and joy just by studying these four books. In THE BIBLE AND CREATION, we are taught that God created the heavens and earth. God is great enough to be the creator of, well, everything. In this study, we attempt to search out reasons to believe that there is a God, and that He created the planet that we live on. He is a great God. One can only love and honor Him. In HEROES OF THE OLD TESTAMENT, we learn about some of the Bible's greatest heroes. Men like Samson, David, Jonah and Solomon. In JESUS AND JOB, we learn that The Book of Job may be the oldest writings in the world. Job may very well have been the greatest man to ever have lived. He was so good and kind. Still, his life was short of perfection. He had to admit he needed a redeemer. We see side by side his life with that of Jesus, who was God's son, the perfect one. God wants us to care about others. He wants us to love them as we ourselves. This brings joy to His heart. We also need to spend time alone with Him and in His Word in order to gain the power to be more than enough for others. Now is the time to really know Him. I want you to find Him to be a real friend, a true friend. I want you to know that He loves you dearly. My prayer for you is to find peace, love, joy and hope.
