This Activity Book is all about Penguins. It introduces Pengos, who first of all hatches as the cutest (and smallest) penguin of all; a Fairy Blue called Korora. After this life, Pengos hatches again, now as Chinzos, a rather argumentative Chinstrap Penguin. Altogether, Pengos hatches another five times, learning more and more with each life that passes... In between the stories, children can learn some interesting facts about penguins, such as where they live, what they eat and how long they have to wait for an egg to hatch during the dark, bitter, Antarctic winter! Finally, towards the end of the seventh life and now one of the wisest Penguins of all, Pengos is summoned to meet the Great Grey Emperor on the summit of a huge iceberg. This is where our Penguin hero (now called Empiros) is invited to make a very important decision. Children can be invited to say how they would respond if they were in Pengos' feathers... A question which can get some interesting answers. After this come a number of Activities in which children can colour the penguins and fill in their speech bubbles. Then there is a chance to think about the kind of sports your children might like to practice and/or the musical instruments they might like to play. Finally, they can look at cartoons representing 24 professions - and colour the ones they find most attractive!PS: Keep this book in a safe place when your children have finally grown out of it. Take it out again in 15 or 20 years and see if any of those "projections" were right...!
