Author David Taylor discovers that his new e-book novel is being plagiarised. Some time later Robert Demaid, a fellow author, on a trip to the mountains in Spain with his Spanish girlfriend Elena, finds Taylor living the life of a recluse in a cave up there. Demaid's curiosity gets the better of him. He makes contact with Taylor and in trying to help him he unfolds a trail of misdeeds and innuendo, including fraud and ballot rigging and encounters a hit-man assassin. Their subsequent enquiries lead them into a catalogue of catastrophes in Spain, London and South Wales, where Demaid meets Barbara Harrison, one of Taylor's ex-girlfriends . The novel is set against the desperate economic background of recent Spain, where riots, strikes and murky political history are rife. The story will have you guessing until the end to learn of the outcome.
