Urban Tales is a series created by Mercy B that depicts the lives of four brothers - Nieem, Navee, Nylam, and Lodie - who reigns supreme from corner to corner of their poverty infested projects. Southside is where they sold their first piece of stolen goods, hit their first piece of pussy, and even caught their first body. No deed goes undone, no stone unturned, and not a thing is deemed off limits when the Mercer's are involved. Nieem has finally graced the public with his presence. Fresh off of a ten year bid for a murder that he was wrongfully indicated for - yet, graciously served his time without a regret or second thought - Nieem faces unfathomable adversities that he must overcome to live the life he dreamed of every night while lying in his bunk. He treads the streets of Southside with a few agendas at hand. First, Nieem is determined to rid himself of the institutional mindset that he's been cursed with since being locked away for a decade. His second agenda involves strategic retaliation on the only man that he ever trusted outside of the Mercers, Lo. Lastly, Nieem desires to find the perfect woman to bear his last name, children, and be able to manage the hectic occurrences that arises with his chosen lifestyle.
