In my life's journey, I have experienced the soft, mushy, gushy love of sexual attraction, to the hard sacrificial love of forgiveness, and all manners of love in between. It is the true, pure, hard sacrificial love of one person helping another, with truth, forgiveness, compassion, endurance, patience, mercy, grace, charity, tenderness, wisdom, justice, kindness, and everything that causes good to happen, that I have come to respect and worship. At certain times in my life I could not see this love at work, for I was blinded by my own greed and selfishness. My life has been full of ups and downs, twists and turns, which have taught me an important fact. That is to keep the main thing the main thing, which is to love God with everything I received, by loving others, as I would have them love me.
