What are Verbal Sketches? What is a Lavender Soul? What are Inspirations from the Heart? Verbal Sketches are my thoughts I constantly ponder in my mind before writing them down. I usually write them down on sticky notes or index cards. They are just ways of getting my thoughts on paper. Eventually these become parts of my books or a God driven foundation for my sermons. A Lavender Soul is a soul that has gone through trouble and is now at peace more than war with itself. I have gone through a lot of challenges and pain. As I get older I am able to reflect on my life and see how God has given me peace. I reflect on my actions and perspective on things and find peace within. Maintaining a lavender soul is a constant struggle. If we focus on God, He will give us peace or a way back to peace that keeps our negative emotions in check. Inspirations from the Heart are the thoughts and ideas that are generated through me from God. These inspirations come from my constant deep thoughts and meditation.
