Simon Tearsdale and Eric Andrews, agents of The Core, had no idea what they were getting into when they were assigned a reconnaissance mission to the northwestern coastline of the Nightlands. Their goal? To inspect a meteorite that had hit land. However, their trip is turned sideways when an odd attraction diverts Simon from the job, and he becomes the guardian of Mio, a strange girl who claims to be from the moon. As the three get back on track and continue with their assignment, they discover more about their mysterious charge that links her to the meteorite.
