Tears in a Suitcase, is a collection of poems about life experiences most people are afraid to talk about. We are often so afraid of own life experiences that we make a habit of trying to run away from ourselves and we pretend that bad things only happen to other people, not us. Not me. What we do or do not do about what happens to us becomes us. A tear is a life story yet to be told. Tears are expressions of ourselves that we often choose to never put into words. - What tears do you carry in the secret suitcase of your heart as you embark on this journey called life? - What is your hidden pain? Tears in a suitcase, gives voice to the voiceless. I speak for you, and it is my hope that as you read my poems you will identify your tears, the thing that is holding you back from being all that you are meant to be in this life. Tears in a Suitcase, is your gateway to freedom. It is time to be free, to grab your dream with both hands and believe that you too can have the life you think you deserve.
