An immortal brown tabby-cat. A cherry tree perpetually in bloom. A cryptic crone with a secret. Strange disappearances. It's been three years since her husband mysteriously vanished, and despite the town's rather odd charm, Rosemary is beginning to grow weary of life in Lago. Haunted by peculiar dreams of cherries, she hosts a series of strange and lovely visitors who delight in her company and gleefully devour her carefully crafted recipes. She has an inspired idea to create a cookbook, but the cherry trees in her backyard have a sinister secret. Self-proclaimed Mayor Billy moved to Lago thirty years ago with a robust cinematic vision: to save the town from squalor. He painted the town red and used his small fortune to build the grandest train station this side of the Mississippi. But despite his best efforts, Lago has officially been deemed a ghost town. Cash poor and soul broken, Billy presses on, determined to become the Savior of Lago. When a wandering musician dies under mysterious circumstances, her father retraces her steps to Rosemary's front porch. His arrival changes everything, forcing Rosemary and Billy to face the awful truth of the cherry trees and band together to save Lago. But can they save themselves?
