About the Book Brian Borgford and his wife, Rochelle Bos moved to the United Arab Emirates in 2003. This is the first in a series of books documenting the couple's twelve years in the Middle East. Brian and Rochelle kept a blog site where they recounted their day to day activities. Written in "blog-entry" format, it is not a storybook account but rather relays the actual events as they occurred.
