OLDER LADIES' ten stories are inspired by actual incidents, most of which happened over a span of decades in or near Elkhart, Indiana. Incredibly, this seemingly inconsequential town has a quite a history. One that involves existential pole-dancers; ass-stomping pacifists; Buick-smashing rhinoceroses; blowjob-seeking, hormone-fueled teenagers; dogged, battled-scarred voyeurs; confused, closeted librarians; confused, semi-closeted priests; Lincoln-less lawyers; octogenarian car thieves; unruly, plug-tailed pups; Buddha-like tuxedo cats; Bible-quoting, homosexual-hating serial killers; grudge-bearing, ex-Marine homicide detectives; and, last but not least, cheeky older ladies of both genders. Given these deliciously twisted characters, OLDER LADIES might finally give Elkhart the notoriety the town amply deserves.
