Laurie is leaving her husband but not her West Virginia homeland. However she has taken half of a huge lottery win that her husband wants back and he is hot on her heels. Avoiding him involves adventurous exploits from which she survives by employing a high-tech security service and by giving large sums of the lottery winnings to needy residents who agree to help her.
