"Paul knew his job was dangerous."
"Twenty years before, two of his team
members had been killed by a large pyroclastic flow from an active volcano.
Haunted by the incident, he was determined to keep it from happening again."
Three teams of volcanologists arrive on an uncharted island in the Indonesian
archipelago to monitor an active volcano. After a series of strong earthquakes,
a cave opens up giving an avenue of escape for vicious demons to possess and
attack the local villagers. Pursued by the killers, Dr. Paul Martinez and his team flee to a mountain monastery run by Father Joseph Antonio who allows them to stay there for protection. They reach the ferry that is coming to rescue the villagers, but things don't turn out as expected. Follow his people as they try to escape certain death and make it to safety.
