Plot synopsis: Eli is the returning victor in the Championship of Warriors and must defend the title against his rival, Kadmiel. The competition is interrupted by a group of sorcerers, who launch an attack on the unsuspecting viewers in the stadium and overpower the townspeople with supernatural strength. Eli and Kadmiel escape with their lives and their freedom, but the same cannot be said of their families and neighbors, who have been captured by the assailants known as the Brotherhood of Warlocks. The rival swordsmen must set aside their differences and join forces to combat the sorcerers and free their people. Their enemies are on the move, executing a gambit for power that spans the entire Tetrad Union and each of its regions. Eli and Kadmiel will need to make haste and learn to work as a team if they hope to stand a chance against the Brotherhood.
