Miriam Warner has just landed her dream job as an editor for a big publisher in San Francisco, but the city is overwhelming for the small town girl. Homesick, Miriam plans to fly home for Thanksgiving-until a winter storm grounds her flight. Justin Baldwin, landlord of Miriam's apartment complex, comes up with the perfect solution to her problem. He'll drive her two states away to her hometown if she lets him experience a real Thanksgiving with her family. Miriam agrees, imagining a peaceful car ride with the man she's been drooling over.
