Roots of Irma Ryan Fitzroy
Roots of Irma
Ryan Fitzroy
In the synchronized dance of the wind choreographed by mother nature herself, and fueled by the waters of the Atlantic Ocean under the gaze of the tropical sun, it brings an unnerving and mysterious force to the domain of the unfortunate. Many of whom may consider this seasonal and un-invited visitor to be a cleansing phenomenon. However, one cannot help but empathize with those who have suffered and lost loved ones to the cruel might of hurricane Irma, in the fall of 2017. With destroyed homes, lost pets, and damaged neighborhoods, their misery was compounded by the lack of basic essentials, such as power, fuel and water, in a culture rooted in happiness and laughter.
