Hiding in Plain Sight to Settle Accounts Vince's specialized work wasn't as well defined and clear anymore. It wasn't black and white like the old days. It had become more dangerous, and personally frustrating. His moral compass was spinning out of control. All he wanted to do was retire peacefully and start a new life with his beautiful wife on a ranch in the northwest. Having completed what would be his last assignment he traveled to Langley, VA. There he gives notice to his superiors claiming old bones and health maladies that were slowing him down. These DC leaders were naturally reluctant to let their best field agent go and asked him to reconsider. At the same time others in DC decided they couldn't let him go. He knew too much. They would organize an assassination hit to silence their trusted agent and all who would stand with him. Utilizing all his acquired skills he fights back and then disappears, hiding in plain sight to lick his wounds. Then he mounts his own campaign of retribution for those who had challenged his life. From Central America to the islands of Washington State, to the deserts of Arizona, and then Vancouver, BC. Vince determines who his friends and enemies are. He is a man on a mission hiding in plain sight. One last job!
