This book is in part based on a real life experience that happened to the author, but for the most part it is fiction. However, we must remember that there is nothing fictional about the birth of Christ. This book is intended to remind all of us that Christmas was created to celebrate the birth of Christ and for no other reason. The following is a short synopsis of the book. John and his older brother Jim have a Christmas tradition, they stay up on Christmas eve and Jim tells John stories of Christmases past. However, one particular year Jim decided that he is too old for such nonsense. John felt like his Christmas has been completely ruined because Jim wouldn't stay up with him on Christmas eve. Then John received a visit from a mysterious man named Nick. Nick took John on a wonderful journey that reminded him what Christmas is really about.
