Everyone knows God loves stubborn punky kids, especially those who don't believe in Him. Augustine just wants her to stop bugging him already, so he reluctantly agrees to peruse a few pages. He interprets the stories in hilarious and sometimes poignant ways. What's more, he's sharing his new knowledge with his two best friends, Jose and Sammy. The books in The Holy Misadventures of Augustine series employ gentle humor to remind us of Jesus' humanity. They are written in an imaginative and preposterous manner while always being respectful of God's tremendous love for us.
