Ethan Marshall is a teenager growing up in New Brunswick, Canada. He is extremely bright, has a loving family, and very good friends. Even though he has some unusual habits, his own secret ways of feeling better when things get rough, he is coping quite well with life. But there are some very serious challenges on the horizon. Trouble arrives. The Marshalls fall on hard financial times - they are even in danger of losing their house. Soon, Ethan's special items and rituals are no longer helping. He starts having panic and anxiety. Then he meets Greg, a maverick counselor with his own ideas about how to help people in trouble. But will Greg's unique brand of caring be enough?
