"Why do they do it? Why do we hurt each other?" - the protagonist ponders. A play describing how war and violence alienate people from each other, robbing them of their homes and lives, while forcing them to live in foreign countries where they face new obstacles as foreigners, making it almost impossible to escape the vicious circle that too often characterizes the immigration experience. This theme is played out in the form of a thrilling and captivating story of love and friendship, loyalty and betrayal. Is our endless struggle against the surrounding enemy, the omnipresent violence against which we must constantly fight, all in vain? Consciously or not, each one of us has an inborn desire for true understanding of ourselves. Do we have the capability of self-knowledge? Does the path of self-surrender take us to a better place?
