Why Haven't I Received Answers to My Prayers? What's Happening? What Should I Do? Many of us have had experiences of different kinds that made things look like God did not answer our prayers, or that the answers aren't forth coming. We must have wondered at such times, "What's really happening?" In my life, I've had such experiences several times. As a minister also, I get asked the question many times by many of God's people... "'The Bible says to ask, and it will be given to you.' "I keep asking, so why haven't I received anything?" There are times in our spiritual lives when God is silent and seemingly absent. In some cases, this can be God's way of getting our attention about certain sins that we need to deal with. But in most of the cases, the reason is not clear, and the experience of His silence can be perplexing and painful. In this book, I aim to shed some light from scriptures regarding "The Silence of God." I believe that almost every one of us, at one time or the other, have experienced this silence in his or her lifetime. Many might be experiencing it at the moment, while many will experience it at some point in their lives. What's happening when it seems that God is silent, or you have prayed and prayed, and it seems answers won't just come? More importantly, what should you do at such times?
