Morning Is For Dancing is a story about a woman named Bonnie who has tried hard and diligently applied herself as she pressed toward her goals and dreams her entire life, only to find herself exhausted and fighting the onset of depression in the midst of a breast cancer scare. It is a pivotal point for her faith, whether she knows it or not, and she is faced with the choice of letting life get the best of her or finding refuge in God's Word, promises, loyalty, and faithfulness. As Bonnie contemplates her life, we find that it is really no different than our own. We all face struggles, disappointments, trials, and life altering decisions as we go; and we all have to choose whether to believe the report of the Lord or the various aspects of our experiences. When those closest to you verbally negate your effort and talk against you, will you continue to press on? Will you hope in the Lord, or will you give in to despair? Bonnie has to either remember God's Word and make a conscientious choice as to whether or not she should take off the boxing gloves and give up hope, giving in to exhaustion and depression; or whether she should believe God's promises with the same passion she has always faced her life with, and activate that belief through prayer and with trust in the Lord.
