REUNION. 1. The act or process of being brought together again as a unified whole. 2. The act of uniting again. 3. A gathering of relatives, friends, or associates at regular intervals or after separation. A family reunion. Welcome to this special edition of the Sachet Mixte Women's Journal, a bringing together of 20 artists all of whom have appeared in Sachet Mixte Journals in the past. It is some 18 months since we decided to stop the publication of the journals, and during that time it has been great to witness the progress made by all of the participants in their art and in life. We are proud to have been involved in some small way in boosting the confidence of the artists and bringing their art to a wider public. We wish to thank all of the featured artists for their championing of the Sachet Mixte ethos. Those appearing here have a special place in our hearts as they are those who have most supported us in our endeavours to bring artists worldwide to a greater audience and to encourage them in carrying on with and developing their own arts practice. The brilliant works seen here are either paintings or photographs and they come from The United Kingdom, The United States, Hungary, South Africa, The Netherlands and Germany. None of the works seen in the journal have been featured in the previous journals, with the exception of the talented Liz Clark, whose work adorns the front cover.
