A Prison of Innocents
Anthony Corin
Mikey is a nine-year old boy whose mom was just sentenced to 15 years in prison. Now he must move into a foster home. On the surface, everything seems good about the place. However, he comes to find out that below the surface it is a deplorable pith of abuse and neglect. Mikey bonds together with the other boys to have fun and cope with the abuse. He also finds himself as a catalyst in encouraging the others to defy their perpetrators. Through a long and difficult process, he encourages the others to break the silence around the abuse.
