Little Foxes Hilary Pfeifer

Illustrated with over 100 fox figures made from reclaimed wood, Little Foxes teaches basic recycling techniques to kids of all ages, also including the practice of reducing and reusing everyday household items. Little Foxes is inspired by the great folk icon Malvina Reynolds, a folk singer who wrote a song in 1962 called "Little Boxes." The song was about cheaply made houses that all looked the same and took over the land. It bothered her that people were okay with doing the same thing others were doing and not thinking about their individuality. She wrote a lot of other songs--some for adults that had political messages, and many others for children.
