In this novel, it continues the adventures of Prince Eldred Paladin. He journeys off world to find his bride-to-be and his destiny. He meets a race called Titans who are a space faring but need his help as much as he needs theirs. The King's daughter Felawna, meets Eldred and they fall in love. Prince Eldred takes Felwana back to his world for a royal wedding and gifts her with a massive floating castle made of a single gem stone. He gathers his Golden Legion of dragon riders and what allies he has on Taboon and meets up with the Titan armada of thousands of star ships. He must find the mystical Amulets of Power, the Seminods, with these he can find Infinity's prison, hopefully before the Lord of Reality can escape and protect the universe from his twisted sense of being. He and his allies travel through out the galaxy to find more allies and the Seminods while trying to stay alive. The Obsidian Order, a rogue faction of the Gem Lords are now in open rebellion against Eldred and the Gem Lords. They use their powers and influence to try to stop Eldred from finding the Seminods.
