Roena Lindquist Haynie
Roena Lindquist Haynie, Ph. D. from SUNY Buffalo, retired in 2003 as Dean of Social Science at Avila University in Kansas City. In 1960 she received her bachelor's degreed from Cornell University. During the early Sixties, she and her partner, Charles A. Haynie, were leaders in campus-based movements for civil rights and against the Vietnam War. A brief history of her mother's and father's families and an album of family photos is intended as a genealogical backdrop for the benefit of her children and grandchildren.
