Dawn Munro
Living By Example This book is illustrated with full color pictures. There are 31 poems within its pages, most written in first person, although not all are the author's personal experiences, but her observations of others, and life in general. About its creation, she says, "We are God's church; each of us a living, breathing temple for the Holy Spirit. When we defend God in our hearts, we defend His flock, we love His people, and we become His chosen. We are made in God's own image. Now, more than ever, we must allow the love of man to include all men. The Son of God was sent to Earth to free us, to guide our paths so that we may enrich our lives. We are in this world, but not of it." "Jesus walked among lepers, washed the feet of servants, and was condemned for it. Yet it is in humility that we find humanity. Within the pages of this book of poetry, I hope there is light enough to connect us. I pray that I have written something that will be of comfort for the darkest journey, that can inspire hope, even joy. We are, truly, one people, His people, and we have much in common."
