TABOO is a fictional novel about unfortunate circumstances that characterizes and directs a young boys development, through abject poverty under unsanitary conditions to a life of sin and debauchery that seemed to dictate the outcome of his entire life. The book is characterized by human insensitivity to the plight of others, extortion, incest, violence and outright wickedness. It portrays the dark side of humanity and the seeming inability to break from the vicious cycle of violence prepared by society at large for those who live beneath the poverty line.
