There is exactly one thing that Bailey Baelfor has in abundance: bad, terrible, absolutely abysmal luck. At some point, a man must take a stand against an unfair fate, right? After his farm started failing in a most spectacular fashion, he decided to set out into the world to get a little bit of luck to add to his name. He took up the task of thinning the unicorn herd plaguing a nearby forest, traveling alongside the eccentric tracker Sael. Things did not go as planned, though one might have seen that coming if they had been paying attention. Betrayed in the weirdest of ways, Bailey soon finds himself entangled in a plot to save the world from certain doom, traveling in the company of a murderous unicorn, a chipper dark wizard, a thief with a conscience, and an old wizard whom calling incompetent would be a compliment. Perhaps along the way he'll find out how to change his luck once and for all...or doom the entire world to suffer his same misfortune. It's definitely one of those!
